Overview
The Page Workflows dashboard is accessed by selecting the Page Workflows option from the drop-down menu in the Space Tools Document Management dashboard. The dashboard lets the space administrator view the space's page workflows and the linked pages for each page workflow.
The space administrator can use the dashboard to
delete a page workflow from the space and remove it from the linked pages and blog posts
consolidate a page workflow as a space content label filter workflow added to the space workflows dashboard in the space
Consolidating a page workflow as a space workflow lets you include the workflow in a migration to Confluence Cloud.
Accessing the dashboard
In space tools
navigate to the Document Management Dashboard
choose Page Workflows from the List dropdown menu
The Page Workflows dashboard displays a list of all the different page workflows that exist in a space.
The listing includes a page workflow added to a page with an applied space workflow that overrides the page workflow.
Page Workflows dashboard information
Each page workflow listed in the dashboard includes:
Page Workflow Name - the workflow name. You choose the workflow name to open a preview of the workflow template markup
Linked Pages/Blog Posts - the number of pages and blog posts that are linked to a workflow. You can choose the number to view a list of the linked pages
Actions three dot menu
The Actions menu options let the space administrator:
Delete the page workflow
Consolidate the workflow as a space workflow
Deleting the page workflow removes the workflow from the linked page(s).
Consolidate a page workflow as a space workflow
A space administrator can use the Page Workflows dashboard to consolidate a page workflow as a space workflow. The page workflow is added as an active space workflow to the space and includes a content label to filter the application of the workflow in the space. A content label must be specified when consolidating the page workflow.
In the Page Workflows dashboard, to consolidate a page workflow:
choose the Actions three dot menu for the workflow
select the Consolidate option
In the Consolidate Page Workflow dialog box
add a label to use as the content label filter
choose Transform
The workflow is added to the space workflows dashboard as an active space workflow with a content label filter.
The content label is added to the linked pages and blog posts.
The consolidated workflow is applied to these pages and blog posts as a space workflow, as long as no other active space workflow has precedence, such as a global scope workflow or space scope workflow with no content label filter.
When a page workflow is successfully consolidated, it is:
removed from the linked pages and blog posts as a page workflow
no longer listed in the Page Workflows dashboard
included in the migration of the space to Confluence Cloud
