Configuration
Workflow Activity and Visibility
Only space administrators and page editors can see draft content and the workflow activity in reports by default.
This visibility can be set so that any user can view the drafts and the workflow activity.
Page Update Reset
The default, Reset, requires content reviews to be undertaken every time you transition to a state containing the content review.
If this is set to Ignore, then there is no requirement for a content review to be undertaken when the workflow returns to a previously visited state with a content review.
Published View Macro Transform
If enabled, any content displayed using the include and excerpt-include macros only shows the approved final state version of the referenced page with an applied workflow. If the page is only in draft, no content is rendered.
Document Actions Dashboard Component
If enabled, the Confluence dashboard displays a user's pending document actions, such as pending assigned approvals.
Enable CDC Actions in Page Tools
You can clear this option to hide the app action options, such as Add Workflow, Edit Parameters, Remove Workflow, from the page tools menu.
Usage Statistics
When enabled, anonymous usage statistics are sent to Appfire to help improve the product.
Security
Global administrators can configure workflows in which spaces can be defined.
The addition and application of Comala Document Control Workflows can be Allowed or Restricted.
This can be done separately for:
Space workflows - workflows managed and applied solely by space admins
Page workflows - workflow added by users on a page-by-page basis or blog-by-blog basis
Restrict (or allow) the use of Comala Document Control for specific spaces, which can be done by listing allowable spaces using their space keys in a comma-separated list.
Both space workflows and page workflows can be enabled in the same space.
If the space administrator enables the space mode workflow in a space, any added page workflow is overridden by the space workflow.
Impersonation group for Refresh Data
This user group is used to impersonate a Confluence administrator when running the refresh data process in a space. It lets a space administrator successfully refresh the workflow data for a space, including pages with page-level edit restrictions.
Edit the settings to add a Confluence user group with global administrator permissions:
Default value: Not set
Accepted value: Confluence user group
requires a group with Confluence global administrator permission
Adding a Confluence administrator group ensures the data refresh process in a space has access to restricted pages in the space.
