Release notes 7.11.0
Release date: Jul 14, 2025
Our team is thrilled to announce the latest release of Comala Document Management Data Center.
Confluence Data Center compatibility: v8.5.10 - 9.5.2
Enhancements
New document activity data upgrade rollback option
In the app’s global Document Activity Upgrade screen, a global administrator now has a Revert Upgrade option to roll back the upgraded document activity data in a space. Only one space can be reverted at a time.
This reverts the workflow event and activity history in a selected space to page activity. It also updates the related content properties for the pages and the space, including the Document Activity Upgrade Status, to indicate that the workflow data has not been upgraded to use document activity.
This now considerably improves the Document activity backup and restore process.
The Revert Upgrade action deletes any recorded workflow activity in the document activity report for the space. This is not lost, as they are recorded in the page activity report.
Updated Document Activity Upgrade REST API
The Document Activity Upgrade REST API has been updated to include the new document activity data rollback endpoints.
Migration to Confluence Cloud updates
Content restrictions CSV report file generation in the global Workflow Usage Report
A global administrator can now generate a CSV file in the Workflow Usage Report that lists documents with page-level restrictions that affect the successful migration of workflow data.
The CSV file report lists the documents with details of the restriction, including users, user groups, the type of restriction (view, edit), and whether the restriction is inherited.
The report lists only restricted pages and blog posts with an active workflow that need page restrictions removed before migration. It does not include documents without an active workflow (documents without a current workflow state).
CCMA page restrictions pre-check update
The CCMA migration pre-check, Page restrictions verification, no longer generates a CSV file. This now displays a warning if page-level restrictions are present and includes a link to the Workflows Usage screen to run the Page Restrictions report to generate a CSV file listing the affected documents.
Full Workflow Translator for Cloud support for workflow parameters
The workflow parameters of type list as well as the page level parameters (edit=true) are now supported by the workflow translator. Your Data Center workflow parameters are now fully compatible with their cloud counterpart, and are now translated and moved over to cloud successfully as part of the cloud migration process.
Bug fixes
The following issues were fixed in this release:
When a user had multiple pending read assignments, they were only able to view the first page in the Read Assignments report in their profile
In some cases, after upgrading the app, the global Loop Watchdog setting was set to zero, and the app failed to function correctly
Migration to Confluence Cloud bug fixes
Fixed the following errors in the Workflow Translator for Cloud:
Error translating a set-state macro that included the state parameter when defining the destination state, for example
{set-state:state=NewState}
Restriction type values (edit, view) in the set-restrictions and add-restrictions macros are now translated automatically as lowercase character values to avoid errors in Confluence Cloud
