Release notes 7.9.1
Release date: Apr 24, 2025
Our team is thrilled to announce the latest release of Comala Document Management Data Center.
Confluence Data Center compatibility: v8.5.15 - 9.4.0
Enhancements
“Enterprise Theme for Confluence” theme compatibility with workflow builder/editor
Users can now use the workflow builder and editor while a theme from the Enterprise Theme for Confluence is applied in a space.
Sticky labels are now supported in cloud workflow translation
The cloud workflow translator has been updated to support the sticky labels attribute. It is now translated and successfully migrated as part of the workflow.
Bug fixes
The due date in the state byline now reflects the user’s time zone
The due date in the state byline is now correctly displayed according to the user’s preferred time zone settings.
Invalid space keys now trigger error messages in global settings
Whenever the list of spaces in the space workflows or page workflows settings is updated, now the valid space keys are stored, and the invalid ones are provided in an error message.
Date format fixed in duration workflow parameters.
Certain date formats used in Duration workflow parameters were causing the page parameter viewer and editor to fail to render correctly. A fixed date with a valid format will now be displayed as the value for a duration parameter.
Fixed broken links in the Page Activity macro within emails on Confluence 9
Links generated by the Page Activity macro in emails will now work as expected on Confluence 9.
Inactive page workflows are no longer shown in the Page Workflows Report
The report now correctly filters out inactive page workflows overridden by space workflows.
Migration to Confluence Cloud Bug Fixes
Migration bug introduced in v7.9.0
It has been fixed a problem introduced in Comala Document Management v7.9.0 where the migration failed for spaces that had no workflows applied.
Migration to cloud - Performance improvements
We have significantly optimized the server-side performance of the migration process. This results in faster processing times, reducing the overall migration duration, and making it reliable for large-scale data transfers.
Workflow usage report - Performance improvements
The workflow usage report has been restructured to improve performance and usability. Instead of a single on-screen report, it now provides two downloadable CSV exports (one for global and space level workflows and another for page level workflows). This change significantly enhances performance and improves usability, especially for large instances.
Faster pre-checks for workflow usage in cloud migration
We have significantly improved the performance of workflow usage pre-checks during the cloud migration process. These enhancements reduce the time required to complete pre-checks, enabling an efficient migration experience for users.
Improved workflow migration pre-check
The Workflow Definition’s Cloud Compatibility pre-check, which previously generated a CSV file, has been replaced with a new, more efficient pre-check: Pre-Migration Workflow Assessment. This updated assessment provides direct, actionable links to relevant information without generating a CSV, offering a faster and more user-friendly experience during migration.
