Workflow elements and concepts
Overview
Workflows in Comala Document Management Cloud consist of key building blocks that define how the content is reviewed, approved, and published. Understanding these elements helps you configure and manage workflows efficiently.
The workflow consists of the following elements:
States
States represent the stages a document goes through during its lifecycle.
Draft → In Review → Approved → Published are workflow states.

Parameters are customizable variables that are used to configure the workflow behavior.

Transitions
Transitions move a document from one state to another. Transitions can be manual (triggered by a user) or automatic (triggered by events or conditions)

Triggers
