Add workflow
You can use the “Add workflow“ option from the page tools menu to add a workflow to an individual page or blog post.
The Add Page Workflow option appears when:
No workflow is currently applied to the page.
You have edit permissions for the page.
As a page editor, you can use the Add Workflow option to select and apply a workflow to the page.
If you also have space administrator permissions, you can:
Apply a workflow to the page, or
Open the space settings to apply a workflow to all pages in the space.
Add workflow as a Page editor
If you have Confluence edit permission for the page, the Add workflow dialog box lets you choose a workflow to add to the page.
To add workflow as a page editor,
Click the page actions tools menu (ellipsis menu) from the top right corner of the Confluence space. Under Apps, choose Add workflow
In the Add workflow dialog, click Apply workflow. The following dialog displays the available list of workflows for that space. Choose the required workflow and click Apply.
This action will apply a workflow to that page.
Add workflow as a Space administrator
If you have Confluence edit permission for the page and space administrator permission, the Add workflow dialog displays Apply workflow and Configure space.
To add workflow as a space administrator,
Click the page actions tools menu (ellipsis menu) from the top right corner of the Confluence space. Under Apps, choose Add workflow
In the Add workflow dialog, click Apply workflow to apply the workflow to that page. Or, you can click Configure space to open the app space settings and choose a workflow to add to all the pages and blog posts in the space.
