Risk management module (NEW)
About the Risk management module
With the new Risk management module, you can register, assess, and prioritize risks without leaving BigPicture. You can also monitor progress and link risks to your company's day-to-day work. When creating a risk register, you can choose from four industry-standard risk management templates. All templates are fully customizable.
The module allows you to create as many risk registers and calculations per box as you need.
The following video presents an overview of the Risk Management module.
Multiple risk registers
Multiple risk registers can help you with:
Categorizing risks by type, category, or nature.
Managing risk assessments by different teams.
Multiple calculations
Multiple calculations within a single risk register can help you with:
Comparing initial risk assessments with residual risks.
Evaluating the same risks using different frameworks or scenarios.
Analyzing risks from various perspectives, for example, business and development.
Access and security
Box viewers can see and manage everything for existing risk registers. To create new risk registers, you need to have at least the Box Editor role assigned.

Constraints
The Risk management module isn’t available in boxes with the sub-scope type. When you open the module in such a box, you will see the following screen.
Risk registers can only be created in own-scope boxes.
At the none-scope level, you can view risk registers from own-scope child boxes but cannot create new ones.
