The conditions & configuration fields mentioned in this section are common to both the Update Issues post function and Conditional Validator. But, they serve a different purpose as mentioned in Update issue post function and Conditional validator.

Regular expression pattern |
| Specify a regex pattern for conditional matching. The pattern is applied to the Condition field to the left (e.g., Condition 1, or Condition 2). |

Configuration

JQL query |
| Query that is run to provide substitution variables including %jql_result_count%, %jql_result_list%, and %jql_result_1%. The query is run once unless the field contains an entry specific substitution variable, it which case the query is run for each different entry value. |
Acting user | Transition user | Set a user who would have the same permissions as the Assignee for issue being updated. This provides the flexibility to the specified user to perform the workflow transition. Tip: How to act on an issue for the assignee. You can select None as a value for this field. In such scenario, Acting user is defaulted to the user transitioning the workflow. |
