Installation and Use

To use a CLI client with a specific application, the application must have the ACLI Connector component installed and validly licensed.

Overview

Appfire CLI apps use Atlassian installation and licensing support. Using the Universal Plugin Manager (UPM) provides general information on finding and installing apps. Here is a brief outline for installing Appfire CLI apps on Atlassian server products. There are some differences depending on the Atlassian server version and UPM version. This section is geared to new product installs. If you are upgrading, see Atlassian Updating apps. Note that HipChat apps are not covered by these instructions as HipChat does not use the UPM.

Log into your Atlassian instance as an administrator.

Click the admin drop-down and select Manage apps.

Navigate to ATLASSIAN MARKETPLACE > Find new apps.

Enter the name of the Bob Swift Atlassian App you want to install in the search box.

If you don't have the name, enter Bob Swift and locate the product in the list.

Click Free trial to begin a new trial or Buy now to purchase a license.

Enter your MyAtlassian information.

Download and install begins. Your license should be automatically applied. Installation completes!

Apps may have a Get Started link. Click that if available.

It provides useful information and links specific to the app.
