    Authentication failed - 11.x

    Symptoms

    One or more SQL Macro returns the following error:

    org.apache.tomcat.dbcp.dbcp.SQLNestedException: Cannot create PoolableConnectionFactory (FATAL: password authentication failed for user)

    Cause

    The data source is unable to authenticate against the specified database.

    Resolution

    Application server configuration (server.xml) has the wrong username and/or password.
