Solve synchronization conflicts
Overview
If you're using the same component across many projects, you can see some of these synchronization conflicts appear.
It usually happens when you change the same attribute of the component in multiple projects between synchronizations.
Attributes are name, description, component lead, and default assignee.
Synchronization conflicts
Click the exclamation mark next to the Create Component button to see what the conflict is.
See which component has conflicts and on which attributes.
Open the component detail in Octo and update the field that caused the conflict.
Now you can run synchronization again or wait until it runs automatically (every 4 hours).
You can find out what changes caused conflict by looking for the component in the Jira project components screen.
TIP: Use quick links on project names in synchronization conflict messages to get there.
