New events for Event-based Actions!

Event-based actions have been updated with a greatly expanded list of events that can trigger them! In addition to the existing issue-related events, you can now configure JMWE post functions to fire based on Project-, Sprint-, Version-, and User-related events! UI Updates

Automation Rule Builder ‘Advanced view’

All actions that use the Automation Rule Builder (Shared, Scheduled, and Event-based actions) have been updated with an ‘Advanced view’ when configuration the post functions included in the action. The new button to toggle between Simple and Advanced views appears after an action has at least one post function configured. Advanced view adds a detailed list of post functions and their configurations to the bottom of the editor screen, providing a data-rich summary view of all configurations included in the action. Last modification date and user added to Actions

In addition to the Advanced view, the tables listing all existing actions (Shared, Scheduled, and Event-based actions) have been expanded with two new columns - By and Last modified. These columns display the user badge of the last person to modify (or create) the action, and when that modification occured. This includes enabling or disabling the action.

Extensions

Regular expression support in Nunjucks templates

Nunjucks templates and scripts have been updated to support regular expressions when the filter and find filters to match issues or objects. See Nunjucks filters for more information.

Bug fixes

The following bugs are fixed in this release:

• ‘Link issues’ post function encounters errors - In some configurations when selecting a maximum number of issues for the Link issues to the current issue post function, the post function does not successfully complete. This has been resolved.

• JQL Expression editor fixes - The JQL editor did not display test results correctly in some circumstances. This has been resolved.

• Script editor help link is broken - The ‘More Help’ link in the Nunjucks and JQL Expression editor is broken. This has been resolved.

• Migrated Scripted user configurations show wrong error in Cloud - When migrating a post function from Data Center to Cloud that uses a script to determine the Run as user, the Cloud version of the migrated post function shows the error ‘Groovy script must be converted into a Jira expression' when it should state ‘Groovy script must be converted into a Nunjucks script’. This has been resolved.
