Macro editor updated with the latest Atlassian editor core functionality

We updated the Composition macro editor to support the latest Atlassian editor core functionality. This brings an improved editing experience:

  • The Composition - Tabs macro now supports @mentions and emojis within the content of each tab.

  • The Composition - Tabs macro editor now includes search functionality in the Insert element menu on the toolbar and the slash command menu.

  • The Composition - Tabs macro editor now supports copy-to-clipboard functionality for macros.

Due to security restrictions, the copy-to-clipboard functionality for macros is not supported in Google Chrome.

  • The Composition - Pages to Tabs macro now renders @mentions and emojis if they exist in the source content.

New limitation due to platform changes

The column layout feature is no longer supported inside tabs due to limitations in the Atlassian renderer. Any existing content that used column layouts has been converted to separate paragraphs.
