The report lists

  • Publisher (the user who actioned the space publishing action)

  • Source Space

  • Target Space

  • publishing Start date and End date including the date and time

  • time to complete the publishing action Time elapsed

  • total Processed pages in the publication

  • total Published pages in the publication

  • percentage Success Rate for the publication

A Completed report status will display 100% success rate for publishing.

The space publishing report can be viewed in the source space settings publishing dashboard.

If the user with administrator permission does not have view and edit permission for a page with page-level restrictions, that page is not published and is not included in the report.

Space publishing report - Partially completed

If the last publication of the space includes any incomplete tasks or errors, the space publishing report displays details of the incomplete publishing tasks.

  • the report status is set as Partially completed

  • the report displays a success rate of less than 100%

If the whole space publishing is incomplete, there is also a difference between the number of Processed pages and the number of Published pages.

A list of the pages with errors/partially published is added to Incomplete tasks in the report. The table of pages with publishing tasks listed as incomplete includes

  • the Page name

  • the Space name where the problem occurred (either source space name or target space name)

  • the Current Status for the page publishing state

  • a Message with details of the error and publishing process

The publishing report displays details of the last whole space publish action.

The Incomplete Tasks table does not change if pages are subsequently published using the single-page publish option on a page. However, refreshing the report page or viewing it after the single page publish action updates the publishing state for each page entry.

If all the pages listed in the Incomplete tasks table are subsequently successfully published using the single page publish option, choosing to publish the whole space using the Publish space buttons displays a dialog box stating There are no pages to publish.

There must be at least one page to publish and out of sync to use the Publish space option button.
