Rename the table column name with Advanced Table Viewer [Beta] macro - cloud

The Advanced Table Viewer BETA macro provides the column property to rename the column names after importing the data from the data source.

Rename heading overview

  • The column heading can only be changed in the macro setup mode.

  • The configured name for each column cannot be changed in the Confluence page edit and view mode.

Rename column heading

  • You need edit permissions to access the setup mode.

  • To rename the column, edit the macro to open the setup mode. Refer to the Setup the Advanced Table Viewer [Beta] macro features page to learn more.

  • For each column in the table, you will see the Edit column option.

  • To rename the column heading, click Edit column > Rename heading.

  • The Edit column dialog opens. Enter a new name for the Column heading and click Save.

  • The column heading is changed. For example, the Item column name is changed to the Item name. To save the macro configuration, click Save.
