OKR lifecycle and management
Overview
The OKR module is designed to support a comprehensive range of actions, providing all the tools you need to effectively manage your OKRs from start to finish.
Whether you are setting, tracking, or reviewing OKRs, the module offers seamless functionality to help you manage them throughout their entire lifecycle, ensuring alignment, visibility, and continuous progress.
Actions on OKRs
You can perform the following actions on the Objectives, sub-objectives, and Key Results:
Action | Description |
|---|---|
Create | Create an Objective first. Only then can you add sub-objectives and Key Results. You can create an Objective without any Key Results, but you cannot have a Key Result without a parent Objective. |
You can clone (copy) an open or closed OKR and reschedule it for another period. It is useful when you want to carry an OKR over to another period or quickly create a similar one. | |
Change the value of a selected field in an open or closed OKR, such as the owner or period. You can also edit the Objective associated with the sub-objective or Key Result and the Key Results associated with the Objective. | |
Move an OKR across the current structure to change its place in the hierarchy. For example, you can move a Key Result from one Objective to another. | |
Update the status and progress of an OKR. You can add comments to the OKRs to keep your stakeholders informed. | |
Close an OKR and assign one of the five statuses: Success, Incomplete, Failed, Rescheduled, or Cancelled. Closing the OKR does not result in deleting it. | |
Reopen a previously closed OKR to continue working on it. | |
Permanently delete an OKR, including its history and progress. |
