Coloring rules - workload vs capacity (old view)

This page contains information about coloring rules in the old view of the Resources module.

In the new Resources module view, new coloring rules are applied to help you more easily track resource over- and under-allocation. See the Coloring rules - workload vs capacity page for more information.

No task assignment

No workload will be displayed when a resource is not assigned to any tasks.

Task assignment exists

Standard

Out of the box, when the workload is:

  • Less than 75% of the capacity, the bar will change to green color (under-allocation).

  • Between 75% and 100% of the capacity, the bar will change to an orange color (moderate allocation).

  • Over 100% of the capacity, the bar will change to red color (overallocation).

Custom

If you have customized the configuration for a box type, your existing workload coloring will remain unchanged. The Resources module will NOT overwrite any rules you have manually set up.
