The steps on this page guide you to perform Confluence migration using Confluence Cloud Migration Assistant (CCMA):

Prerequisites

• Perform Step 1 - Prepare for the migration.

  • Understand that there are Composition macros that cannot be migrated yet.

  • Verify that all the Deck of Cards and Card macros are converted into Tab Group and Tab macros.

• Schedule a maintenance window for Confluence Data Center.

• Prepare a Confluence Cloud instance.

  • If you haven’t already, sign up for a cloud site. Decide if you want to perform your test to a trial site or to your production site. 

  • If you decide to use a trial site, you can:

    • Activate your free cloud migration trial.

    • Set up a standard 7 day trial (this will revert to a Free plan after the trial).

  • If you plan to test your migration to a new production site, you can choose between a Free, Standard, or Premium plan. 

• Install Composition Tabs for Confluence Cloud on your Confluence Cloud instance. You can use the 30-day trial of the app.
