Step 2 - Migrate to the cloud
The steps on this page guide you to perform Confluence migration using Confluence Cloud Migration Assistant (CCMA):
Prerequisites
Perform Step 1 - Prepare for the migration.
Understand that there are Composition macros that cannot be migrated yet.
Verify that all the Deck of Cards and Card macros are converted into Tab Group and Tab macros.
Schedule a maintenance window for Confluence Data Center.
Prepare a Confluence Cloud instance.
If you haven’t already, sign up for a cloud site. Decide if you want to perform your test to a trial site or to your production site.
If you decide to use a trial site, you can:
Activate your free cloud migration trial.
Set up a standard 7 day trial (this will revert to a Free plan after the trial).
If you plan to test your migration to a new production site, you can choose between a Free, Standard, or Premium plan.
Install Composition Tabs for Confluence Cloud on your Confluence Cloud instance. You can use the 30-day trial of the app.
