Configure field displays and access the Details screen
Learn how to add Salesforce fields to existing objects and customize what Salesforce fields appear in the Details screen, found on the Jira Issue screen.
It also guides you on how to access the Details screen.
Add a Salesforce field to an existing Object
Go to Settings > Apps, and then in the sidebar, under Connector for Salesforce, choose Connections.
At the Salesforce Connections screen, go to the Connection you want to configure and click Configure.
At the Connection Configuration screen, locate the Salesforce Object desired and click Fields to continue configuration.
Then, in the Salesforce Field search box, enter the Salesforce Field you want to add, then click Add.
When the new Salesforce Field is added, click Apply Changes.
If the changes have been applied successfully, the Salesforce Fields you just added will now be visible on the Details screen.
Access the Details screen
Go to a Jira Issue that has already been associated with a Salesforce record.
On the right side of the screen, in the Connector for Salesforce section, click the associated Salesforce record:
Click Details.
The Details screen appears.
