Space administration - publishing settings
The source space publishing dashboard is used to set the target space for publishing. When two spaces are linked (one as a source space and one as a target space),
the source space publishing settings are used to manage the publishing configuration and publish all the pages in the space
the target space publishing settings displays confirmation that the space is linked as a target space and a link to the source space
Source space publishing settings
A space administrator can use the source space publishing settings to add the target space, manage the publishing configuration, and publish all the pages in the space.
Configuration settings
The app space settings in the source space can be used to
enable all publishing from the current space to a target space
configure a target space for publishing
select the user performing the publishing action
dropdown menu option to select the user permissions for publishing to use the app add-on user or the publishing user permissions in the target space
enable or prevent copying of content properties when publishing a page
enable single-page publishing for the space to allow page editors to publish on a page-by-page basis
enable publishing of only pages in the final state of an applied Comala workflow
Space publishing
A space administrator can publish the whole space using the space publishing option.
On publishing the whole space, Space publishing is appended with a confirmation of the last whole space publish action.
The confirmation message includes
the number of pages published
the target space name
user who undertook the Publish space action
date and time
The space publishing report can be viewed by choosing the See details link.
Incomplete publishing is denoted by a warning icon with the number of pages published out of the total number of pages that were part of the whole space publishing action.
Pages in the source space with restrictions for the space admin user undertaking the Publish space are not published and are not included in the space report.
Target space publishing settings
Once a space has been configured as a target space, this target space cannot be configured as a source space for publishing.
The target space publishing settings display a message confirming the space as a target space for publishing, including
source space name and link
Edit configuration on the Draft Space link to the source space app settings
