Creating list columns using different Comala List macros

Columns can be added to a list by including one or more of the Comala List macros within the body of the list macro.

Use the list input to add a column to allow text input.

The text is stored as a metadata value for the page in the row of the list. The metadata name is the title of the list column.

You can then add the list metadata macro on another page to display the metadata for the pages. The displayed metadata values are only editable in the source list.

The macro links to the content of a Confluence excerpt macro on each linked list page.

The list column displays the content of the excerpt macro.

Here, the list macro is using a Filter to only display pages with the exec label.

  • list select defines a column as a selection (drop-down menu)

The selection can be made from a list of options, labels, or users.
