Updating Comala Document Management to the latest version

We strongly recommend undertaking a practice upgrade in a development or test environment first to identify any potential problems
For large deployments, we also recommend doing a practice upgrade in a staging environment that closely resembles the production or live environment, and then performing some acceptance tests to ensure that workflow functionality, notifications, etc., are all working as expected.
Always take a full backup before updating a production or live environment.

Comala Document Management v6.17+ releases include the option to run pre-upgrade data checks to check the upgrade viability to move from Page Activity to the new Document Activity function in Comala Document Management 7.0+. This provides estimates of the time needed to undertake the upgrade.
