Workflow approval state dialog box
Overview
The workflow approval state dialog box lets you keep track of every stage of the workflow.
Open the approval state dialog box for a page with an applied approval workflow by choosing the approval status content byline.
The contents of the approval state dialog box change to reflect the:
Current state (approval status) of the workflow
Available transition from the current state
The current approval status changes the contents of the dialog box based on the current approval status. The draft states both have a content review (approval).
In the Review state, the dialog box displays a user approval named Review this page
In the Rejected state the dialog box also displays an approval named Review this page
Content reviewed and approved is in the Approved state. In the Approved state the approval state dialog box displays confirmation of the approval process
The Approved state has no options to review or transition the page or blog post.
The workflow state in the Approved state changes to the Review state if the page or blog post is updated. This transition to the Review state also occurs if a set due date (expiry date) for a page in the Approved state is reached.
The workflow events and actions for the page can be viewed using the Document Activity menu option in the workflow approval state dialog box. The user must have permission to view the workflow content byline and open the approval state dialog box
